Step 1: Place pin sockets onto tube pins The provided pin sockets will be soldered onto the board. These allow the tubes to be removed in case they need to be replaced or moved around. I like to orient them so the split is perpendicular to the center of the tube, which helps a bit with alignment. One can use one tube for each set of pins for this step, or assemble pins onto each tube, and solder them all at once if need be. |
